DISTRACTING PASSING

A UNIQUE LOOK AT WHAT THE SUBWAY COULD BE

The concept, DISTRACTING PASSING is to create visually stimulating and interactive hallways that are adjacent to the existing subway corridor in Grand Central. Open to all ages and sizes the “Distracting Passing” is a collection of three corridors that are inspired by a contemporary interpretation of fun houses and installation art. Utilizing various materials, spatial scales, and lighting experiences, these three corridors are sure to evoke emotions, reactions, and entertainment. These optional corridors will distract the every day traveler from the dullness of their daily route and provide a variety of spatial opportunities that may alter your mood.
